Collapsed houses are blocking roads, and entire hillsides have moved due to tremors. According to officials, there are thousands of people who still remain missing, and one of the biggest struggles is getting aid into the smaller towns.

We’re deeply saddened by this news and we want to help as much as we can! This region holds a special place in all of our hearts – after all, it’s the native home of the Yak.  And judging from your Yaks about the earthquake, it’s apparent that you guys want to help too!

Last fall, with help from our users, we donated five Yaks to the Tibet Foundation’s Yak For Life program, and now we have another chance to come together and help this region that’s very near and dear to us.

You can join us in helping these survivors by making a donation to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The donation process varies by country, so please pay close attention to the information listed below.

If you’re in the United States, you can text “Redcross” to 90999 to make a $10 donation. The donation will be charged to your phone bill, and you can donate up to three times. Or make a donation online via Paypal or Credit Card by visitingRedcross.org.
