On April 25th, Nepal was hit by a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake. As of today, over 5,ooo people have died and more than 8 million people have been affected across Nepal, India, Bangladesh, and Tibet.

Collapsed houses are blocking roads, and entire hillsides have moved due to tremors. According to officials, there are thousands of people who still remain missing, and one of the biggest struggles is getting aid into the smaller towns.
We’re deeply saddened by this news and we want to help as much as we can! This region holds a special place in all of our hearts – after all, it’s the native home of the Yak. And judging from your Yaks about the earthquake, it’s apparent that you guys want to help too!
Last fall, with help from our users, we donated five Yaks to the Tibet Foundation’s Yak For Life program, and now we have another chance to come together and help this region that’s very near and dear to us.
