Not gonna lie, I had major writer’s block when attempting to write this post. I mean, how does someone who has never given blood herself convince others to do so? Was I reaching a new level of hypocrisy by writing this? What prevented me from giving blood anyway?

The Yik Yak Team is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Red Cross during the month of April to promote blood drives across college campuses around the country.

In addition to the wonderful feeling of knowing that you’ve helped someone, students who donate through the Red Cross event on campus will also receive some cool Yik Yak merchandise, including summer tanks (!), sunglasses, cups, pens, and key chains.
