We once again topped our previous high of views and submissions for Week In Review! Instead of blabbing on about how cool this is and how exciting it is that the feed is growing in popularity, I’ll just get right to the news. That’s why people read this in the first place, right?

Welcome back to the Week In Review recap! We kept the Peek feed up over the weekend and once again it was a big success. Each week the feed is getting more and more love, with quality and quantity ever rising. Let’s keep it up!

Welcome back to the Week In Review Recap! Today we’re going to take a look back at a handful of the best posts from last week’s satirical news peek: Week In Review.

We did something different this time and left the peek feed up over the weekend. We were getting a ton of top notch content submitted from you guys on Friday, so we said what the hell, and left it up for a few more days. We got even more activity on Saturday than we had on Friday. We’re going to try that again this week and hope it becomes a trend!

Now, to the news…

Last week, we formally introduced a new recurring featured peek called “Week In Review,” and it has been a huge hit! The gist is simple: take a piece of real news and expand upon it in a comical and creative way, much like Saturday Night Live does in their “Weekend Update” sketch. Our awesome yakkers have come up with some truly hilarious material across a wide variety of subjects. It was difficult for us to pick a list of our favorites, but we whittled it down to our top ten.
