What happens when a comedian, an artist, and a ping pong champ walk into a bar? Well, I don’t really know because two of them are underage, but I DO know what happens when they walk into the Yik Yak HQ: They crush it. And that’s what we’re all about! Grinding hard, day in and day out, to grow the app and make it even better for you Yakkers.

It’s almost that time of year again. Summer is coming to an end, and the interns are finishing up projects and preparing for their final presentations. As much as we hate to see them leave, we’re so lucky to have had the opportunity to get to know each and every one of them.

There have been many laughs, nerf gun battles, and lessons learned throughout the past twelve weeks, and we can only hope they’ve enjoyed their time here as much as we’ve enjoyed having them.

Throughout the summer, we’ve had the opportunity to work with twelve fantastic interns from schools all over the U.S. We have interns majoring in biology, marketing, chemical engineering and a variety of other academic disciplines. Each intern brings their unique skills, passions and personality to the Yik Yak herd.
