Meet the Interns: Part 4

Ah, September. When the leaves begin to change and the air becomes crisp and chill. People seem to be a little happier this time of year, and most of us are around here too, the only thing that’s got us a little bummed is that and our last summer intern just left us (tear). And the office is a little emptier, a little quieter, and there are a lot less nerf darts whizzing about.

Week In Review: Recap of the Peek Feed from Sept. 11-13

For many of us, our work/school schedules were short this week thanks to Labor Day. For those who don’t get that day off, we feel for ya. We are in the thick of September now, and at least for us, the sweltering temperatures of the summer are starting to fade and the crisp breezes of autumn are starting to slip their way into our lives. Finally, we can walk to the grocery store without looking like we just ran a marathon.

Before Cam Mullen became Yik Yak’s Lead Community Developer, he was actually our first official intern! 

In March of 2014, an enthusiastic college student from Vanderbilt contacted us when he saw on Twitter that we were looking for interns. Brooks and Tyler could tell that he was really passionate about the app, so they hired him right away. Cam graduated that May and moved to Atlanta to continue his internship and was eventually offered a full-time gig a few months later.
