As finals sweep across the college scene, Yakkers are feeling the pressure. But students at schools across the country have been the recipients of random acts of kindness and encouragement from their peers that have helped make this time a little less painful. From offering free Advil and snacks to providing baked goods, these good samaritans know how to bring their communities together and keep morale high. Good luck on finals, Yakkers!

Finals season has everyone stressed – and stuck in the library. A Yakker at University of Virginia took to Yik Yak to help alleviate this stress: they gauged fellow students’ interest in a tasty treat, and then kept the herd posted from the kitchen.  

Trent University had an interesting week – a city-wide power outage during exams had professors, students, and even pets frazzled! 

University of North Florida sits on a nature preserve, and is home to lots of wildlife – especially geese. Last week, a Yakker posted to his local feed asking for help figuring out what to do for an injured goose on campus.
