Warm weather, sunny skies, school out for summer…for two students at the University of Pittsburgh, these are tell-tale signs that camping season has arrived. Last weekend, one Yakker posted a photo of her campsite view, and another replied to find out more.

As finals sweep across the college scene, Yakkers are feeling the pressure. But students at schools across the country have been the recipients of random acts of kindness and encouragement from their peers that have helped make this time a little less painful. From offering free Advil and snacks to providing baked goods, these good samaritans know how to bring their communities together and keep morale high. Good luck on finals, Yakkers!

Finals season has everyone stressed – and stuck in the library. A Yakker at University of Virginia took to Yik Yak to help alleviate this stress: they gauged fellow students’ interest in a tasty treat, and then kept the herd posted from the kitchen.  

Trent University had an interesting week – a city-wide power outage during exams had professors, students, and even pets frazzled!
