In just two short years, Yik Yak has spread to thousands of communities around the world; each of them has their own characteristics. For example, in our college communities, we see a lot of witty jokes, school pride and moral support during finals. We actually have a team of people at Yik Yak who work extra hard to ensure that each community can thrive.

In March of 2014, an enthusiastic college student from Vanderbilt contacted us when he saw on Twitter that we were looking for interns. Brooks and Tyler could tell that he was really passionate about the app, so they hired him right away. Cam graduated that May and moved to Atlanta to continue his internship and was eventually offered a full-time gig a few months later.
